This past weekend my sister and brother-in-law (along with their two dogs) came up to see me while Garin was on duty all weekend. It was GREAT to get to see them and it really made the weekend fly by quickly. Unfortunately it rained most of the day on Saturday so we weren't able to spend too much time out on the beach, but we did get to go take a tour of Garin's station (that was cool!). Then on Sunday the sun popped its head out so we spent a couple of hours soaking in the rays before they headed back to Charlotte. Oh and it was the first time that Columbo and Lilly (the dogs) had experienced the ocean...they were NOT impressed. It was a great weekend though...thanks for coming you guys!
